Unearthodox invites applications for the third Exploration Co-Lab — a 10-month journey for changemakers rethinking how human societies relate to the more-than-human world.
Open Call Highlights
Organization: Unearthodox
Programme: Exploration Co-Lab – Edges of Possibility
Duration: 10 months (Cohort 3 begins March 2027)
Grant: CHF 10,000
Application Deadline: 16 November 2026
Who: Seven imaginative, experimental changemakers
Who Is It For?
Unearthodox seeks early-stage initiatives that have moved beyond the idea stage with some groundwork in place — through research, testing, a pilot, or community engagement.
You might be:
Developing regenerative ways of living and working
Experimenting with new ways to protect and restore nature
Using futures, imagination or unconventional methodologies
Rethinking human–ecosystem–species relationships
Challenging systems and assumptions shaping our relationship with nature
Creating new pathways towards coexistence
You don't need to have everything figured out — complex questions and experimentation are welcome.
What the Co-Lab Offers
Unlike traditional incubators, this programme centres on care, trust, experimentation, and collaboration — not competition or rapid scaling.
Participants receive:
CHF 10,000 grant – flexible funding
10-month journey – time and space to explore
Tailored support – guidance shaped around your needs
Peer community – seven innovators learning together
Who They Hope to Reach
Unearthodox actively welcomes underrepresented voices from the Global Majority and historically excluded communities, across all ages, genders, locations, and backgrounds.
As a Swiss-founded organisation, they aim to include at least one Swiss-based initiative per cohort.
