Pratham Education Foundation is inviting applications for the position of Mentor under its Creator Lab Programme in the urban areas of Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune. Key Responsibilities

Educational & Creative Activities

• Conduct educational and creative sessions with children in schools and community settings.

• Facilitate hands-on learning activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

• Implement Creator Lab programme activities as per the curriculum and guidelines.

  Community Engagement

  • Work at the community level in urban areas of Pimpri-Chinchwad to engage children and families.

  • Build relationships with schools, parents, and community members.

  • Encourage participation and ensure regular attendance of children in programme activities.

  Mentoring & Support

  • Mentor and guide children in their creative and educational projects.

  • Provide individual attention and support to children who need extra help.

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.

  Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with school staff, programme teams, and supervisors.

  • Maintain records of attendance, activities, and progress.

  • Report regularly on programme implementation and outcomes.

  Key Requirements

  Education

  Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:

  • Graduate (Any Degree)

  • D.T.Ed. / D.Ed. (Diploma in Education)

  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)

  • MSW (Master of Social Work)

  Experience

  • Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, community work, or education programmes is preferred.

  • Experience working with children in school or community settings is an advantage.

  Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to engage and inspire children.

  • Creativity and enthusiasm for hands-on learning.

  • Proficiency in Marathi is essential. Knowledge of Hindi and English is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
