About the Opportunity
B-ABLE Foundation is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sourcing Officer to join our team in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 2–3 years of experience in candidate sourcing, mobilization, recruitment, or community outreach to contribute to a leading skill development organization.
As a Sourcing Officer, you will be responsible for identifying, mobilizing, and enrolling candidates for B-ABLE's skill development programmes. You will play a critical role in connecting young people from underserved communities with opportunities for skills training and sustainable livelihoods.

Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Mobilization
Identify and mobilize potential candidates from target communities through door-to-door outreach, community meetings, and local networks.
Conduct awareness sessions and informational drives to promote B-ABLE's skill development programmes.
Build relationships with local leaders, community influencers, and partner organizations to enhance sourcing reach.
Recruitment & Enrollment
Screen and counsel prospective candidates to assess their eligibility, interest, and suitability for specific training programmes.
Guide candidates through the enrollment process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Maintain a pipeline of candidates to meet enrollment targets for various courses.
Community Outreach
Organize and participate in community events, job fairs, and awareness camps.
Develop and distribute promotional materials to generate interest in B-ABLE's programmes.
Serve as the face of B-ABLE Foundation in the local community.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with training center teams to ensure smooth onboarding of enrolled candidates.
Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, candidate data, and enrollment numbers.
Prepare regular reports on sourcing progress and challenges.
Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with local government officials, NGOs, and community-based organizations.
Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and vocational training institutes.
Key Requirements
Experience
2–3 years of experience in candidate sourcing, mobilization, recruitment, or community outreach.
Prior experience in the skill development, education, or non-profit sector is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A degree in Social Work, HR, or a related field is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to connect with diverse communities and build trust.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Target-driven with a proactive approach.
Proficiency in Hindi is mandatory. Basic English is preferred.
Location
Must be based in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh or willing to relocate.
