Field Facilitator – Implementation

Hasiru Dala is seeking a dedicated and proactive Field Facilitator – Implementation to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between our organization and the community. You will be responsible for the on-ground execution of our projects, ensuring that our initiatives create a tangible, positive impact on the lives of waste pickers and informal waste workers.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with waste picker communities, local leaders, and stakeholders in Bengaluru.

• Field Implementation: Execute project activities on the ground according to the implementation plan. This includes organizing meetings, facilitating training sessions, and conducting door-to-door outreach.

• Data Collection & Reporting: Collect accurate field data, maintain records of daily activities, and prepare regular reports on project progress and community feedback.

• Coordination: Liaise with local municipal authorities, partner NGOs, and internal teams to ensure smooth project operations.

• Monitoring: Monitor the progress of the project at the field level and identify challenges to propose practical solutions.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in community engagement, field facilitation, or social work. Experience working with informal sector workers or urban poor communities is a strong plus.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW), Sociology, Development Studies, or a related field.

• Language Skills: Fluency in Kannada is mandatory. Proficiency in English and Hindi is preferred.

• Location: Must be based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate immediately. The role requires extensive travel within the city.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
